Itinerary
Day 1 – Windhoek
transfer from Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, to the lodge. The follow briefing with the guide / photographer and check of the cameras. Depending on your arrival time in Airport and in according with us. The rest of the day you will enjoy the meals and relax at the lodge.
Day 2 – Etosha National Park
after breakfast we will drive to Etosha National Park. Stop for lunch around midday and following game drive during the afternoon. Photographich session for wildlife photography and some shoot to the landscape until sunset. Overnight set upping our tended camp inside the Etosha National Park.
Day 3 – Etosha National Park
photographic session during the sunrise, wildlife photography, breakfast with warm coffee on the road. Pause around 11 and lunchtime at midday. Continuining game drive with photographic session for wildlife photography and some shoot for landscape photography during afternoon until sunset.
Day 4 – Damaraland - Himba Tribes
photographic session during the sunrise , breakfast with a warm coffee on the road and continuining game drive on the way to the north-west gate. Stop during the way at midday for the lunch time. Continuining drive until sunset for the photographic session with the best light. Arrive and overnight in Damaraland, the land of semi-nomadic indigenous Himba tribes. An adventure through the mountains encountering small fascinating Himba villages. This is the place of Namibia where we can reach the Himba tribes. Photographics sessions of landscape photography and portrait photography along the way.
Day 5 – Spitzkoppe
after brekfast we will drive to south. More landscapes and interesting encountering will attend us along the way until reach our next lodge close to Spitzkoppe. Spitzkoppe is a rocky massif granite, it is more than 120 million years old, in the middle of nowhere with peculiar shapes rising at an altitude of 1728 m. The granite stand out in the vast desert plain around, as they are of amazing scenic beauty. Photo shooting for landscape photography will be our first goal.
Day 6 – Cape Cross - Swakopmund
our tour follow in south direction until reach Cape Cross Seal Reserve. Cape Cross in Namibia is one of the breeding place for a species of Sea Lions and this incredible place gives us a nice opportunity to get some photography-shoot and realize amazing images of Seals. Here we will stay the right time for an interesting wildlife photography session.
Day 7 – Swakopmund - Walvis Bay
Swakopmund means photographic workshop during the day and comfortable restaurants for our short nightlife. From this town we start to discover some of our the last photographic locations of this tour. Walvis Bay for a great wildlife photography session of flamingos.
Day 8 – Sossusvlei
from Swakopmund after breakfast the day start with the transfer to Sesriem where we will spend two days for the last sessions of landscape photography into the majestic Namib Desert. Dinner at the restaurant and overnight in our tented camp.
Day 9 – Sossusvlei
before breakfast the day start reaching Sossusvlei for the first landscape photography session during the sunrise with the dunes of Namib Desert. Driving back to the camp and back again in the afternoon for the sunset photographic session. Once back to Sesriem we will have the last dinner at the restaurant and the last overnight in our tented camp.
Day 10 – Windhoek
after breakfast day will start with the transfer to Windhoek where we will spend our time to visit the market of the old town. Free shopping before leave Namibia are one of the nice thinghs to don't loose. You will be guided where it's possible to found the best shops to see and buy if you need/want the locals products. Transfer to the Lodge for the last dinner and last night in Namibia. It depend on your flight we will organize the transfer to the international airport
Best season
The best season to visit Namibia is during the dry season from May to September with the nicer temperature and less insects
