Itinerary
Day 1 – Windhoek
transfer from Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, to the lodge. The follow briefing with the guide / photographer and check of the cameras. The rest of the day you will enjoy the meals and relax at the lodge with swimming pool. (depending on your arrival time in Windhoek and in according with us).
Day 2 – Etosha National Parkafter breakfast we will drive to Etosha National Park. Stop for lunch around midday and following game drive during the afternoon. Photographich session for wildlife photography and some shoot to the landscape until sunset. Overnight set upping our tended camp inside the Etosha National Park.
Day 3 – Etosha National Park
photographic session during the sunrise, wildlife photography, breakfast with warm coffee on the road. Pause around 11 and lunchtime at midday. Continuining game drive with photographic session for wildlife photography and some shoot for landscape photography during afternoon until sunset.
Day 4 – Etosha National Park - Kaokoland - Epupa Fallsphotographic session during the sunrise , breakfast with a warm coffee on the road and continuining game drive on the way to the north gate. Stop during the way at midday for the lunch time. Continuining drive until sunset for the photographic session with the best light. Arrive and overnight in Epupa Falls surrounding.
Day 5 – Kaokoland - Epupa Falls
sunrise photographic session. Follow a very good brekfast in Lodge. Day dedicated to portrait and landscape photography. Overnight in Epupa Falls surrounding.
Day 6 – Van Zyl's Passafter brekfast we leave Kaokoveld and start our extreme adventure. To reach Marienfluss we will drive through Van Zyl's Pass, it is a real adventure through the north mountains encountering small fascinating Himba villages. This is the wildest place of Namibia, bordering with Angola, where we can reach the real Himba tribes, off the beaten tourist tracks. Photographics sessions of landscape photography and portrait photography along the way. At the end of the day we will have a dinner with a bonfire and enjoy overnighting in our tented camp between the mountains in a wonderful place under the stars.
Day 7 – Marienflussafter breakfast we ahead to Marienfluss to discover more photographic locations surrounded by an unusual landscape, different from the rest of the beaten Namibia's places. Photography sessions of landscape photography and portrait photography along the way during sunrise and sunset. Dinner around bonfire and overnight in our tented camp.
Day 8 – Hoarusib River
after brekfast we will leave Marienfluss driving to south. More landscapes and interesting encountering will attend us along the way until reach our next base camp into the amazing Hoarusib river bed in Kunene region. Photo shooting for landscape photography will be our first goal during this long transfer. We will reach the river bed in the dark where we will overnight. In this area. The adventure charme of this place will surround us while we will enjoyng the dinner around the bonfire
Day 9 – Hoanib River - Skeleton Coast
from the sunrise we will move to another wonderful location of this tour to photo-hunting the amazing elephants, giraffs and cheethas of the desert. This tour is very exclusive becouse we will be immersed into the nature and close to Namibia's wildlife. This part of the tour is dedicated to wildlife photography with the animals in their unusual ambient. The back-side of the Skeleton Coast will present us many differents view and many opportunities to shoot incredible images.
Day 10 – Damaraland - Cape Crossour tour follow in south direction until reach Cape Cross Seal Reserve. Cape Cross in Namibia is one of the breeding place for a species of Sea Lions and this incredible place gives us a nice opportunity to get some photography-shoot and realize amazing images of Seals. Here we will stay the right time for an interesting wildlife photography session.
Day 12 – Spitzkoppe
after breakfast we leave from our lodge and ahead north to Spitzkoppe, our next landscape photography session. This place will surround us with a magic view with many opportunities to get lots of good shoots.
Day 11 – Swakopmund - Walvis BaySwakopmund will be our last destination, this will be the right place where comeback to the society. Phototours during the day and comfortable restaurants for our short nightlife. From this town we start to discover the last photographic locations of our tour. Walvis Bay for a great wildlife photography session of flamingos.
Day 14 – Sossusvlei
from Swakopmund after breakfast the day start with the transfer to Sesriem where we will spend two days for the last sessions of landscape photography into the majestic Namib Desert. Dinner at the restaurant and overnight in our tented camp.
Day 15 – Sossusvleibefore breakfast the day start reaching Sossusvlei for the first landscape photography session during the sunrise with the dunes of Namib Desert. Driving back to the camp and back again in the afternoon for the sunset photographic session. Once back to Sesriem we will have the last dinner at the restaurant and the last overnight in our tented camp.
Day 16 – Windhoek
after breakfast day will start with the transfer to Windhoek where we will spend our time to visit the market of the old town. Free shopping before leave Namibia are one of the nice thinghs to don't loose. You will be guided where it's possible to found the best shops to see and buy if you need/want the locals products. Transfer to the Lodge for the last dinner and last night in Namibia. It depend on your flight we will organize the transfer to the international airport
BEST SEASON
The best season to visit Namibia is during the dry season from May to September with the nicer temperature and less insects
